How to dispel transphobic thoughts?

TRIGGER WARNING.

I feel gender is a social construct and it's toxic. Telling people what they can and can't do based on their biological sex is oppressive. Forcing people to conform to societal expectations and making them endure procedures and stick themselves with needles to do what they want and be who they are.

But that doesn't matter because there are people who genuinely hate their bodies and experience a lot of suffering so transitioning is the only reasonable treatment. But there's a push in the trans community to delist gender disphoria from the DSM even though it impairs quality of life and causes suffering like any other number of disorders, and would make accessible and affordable srs harder to attain they're no longer medical but cosmetic procedures.

And then to top it off there's the homophobia involved with transgender individuals expecting lesbian and gay individuals to change their sexuality for their convenience. Kind of like Christian conservatives try to.

This is what cycles repeatedly, I know it's transphobic, it makes me uncomfortable. I want to stop thinking about it but I just can't. Help?
