How does enjoy life, i.e doing stuff alone?

Back in 2014, I moved out to another city, I didn't have any friends back then, and I wanted so much to watch the last Hobbit movie. It was the last movie of the saga and could be the very last movie of Tolkien's works. I knew I'd regret for the rest of my life if I didn't watch it, so I went alone.. everyone there were with friends and family, and I was there alone. I probably never felt so embarassed in my whole life, but I stayed there. More than 6 years later, I'm glad I did it. Although it was embarassing as fuck when it happened, now it's one of my proudest moments of my life.

I'm not gonna say it doesn't feel awkward, it does (at least for me).. but it will pass, and you'll probably remember and be more proud of the fact you had the guts to watch the movie than the awkwardness of that moment.
