The problem is: even when what you're doing is 100% legit, all above board and all that, it only takes a cracked up loon to completely, unequivocally, royally fuck up your life.

The police have a tendency to adhere to the arrest now; ask questions later attitude. And by that time: you've been booked in, and your name on a register for suspected whatever.

I tend not to think about it in the sense of "I'm making them feel safer by crossing the road" i tend to think of it as self preservation.

Unfortunately, i have seen to many loons try to pull a fast one to get their own way. I know it's uncommon, and rarely happens. But it does. And once you're on that register there is no getting off it.

Sad state of affairs. But it is what it is.
