How does one battle depression or other mental illnesses when attempting to write?

I dislike these posts...But I'll give you an honest answer...1) If you're injured and bleeding from your head or limb, you get medical attention immediately...You should not write. You should treat your illness first...

2) The hardest and most inconvenient truth...Not everyone is a WRITER...

I know...to many...it's tempting and easy...Oh, I just type a few things here and there...and I'm a writer...

Sorry, mate, I'm just being honest. That's not what a writer is...A writer crafts story...using all the elements of creative fiction...It's very hard to do in the first place and almost impossible to accomplish on purpose.

Based on what you've written in this post: I'm not convinced you are a writer, and I implore you to get illness treated.

Also, you kind of cheat and waste our time:

These are your own words: Ever been through Manchester? People are zombies due to the synthetic weed spice. So many people go fucking insane from just one drag and start attacking anything that moves. Loads more people have been taking it as well so Manchester is just getting more and more uninhabitable.

You wrote that, so frankly, I think you are wasting our time on this subreddit. I recommend you get yourself some help. Best of luck to you.
