How does one define a "shithole country," anyway -- does it involve citizens drinking lead-contaminated water, perhaps?

Incredible India. Fucking corruption. Slums on one side, Shopping malls on the opposite side. The gap between the rich and the poor is only widening. While the rich is becoming more wealthy, the poor stays poor. The middle class in between them also end up being the shoulders for lots of burdens. We may have 1.2 billion people but it's sad to say that many don't have common sense or don't know how public/social etiquette works. Some people are easily offended by the tiniest of things. Most of the government officials are corrupt, they give lots of fake promises. Some officials even have criminal records on their head. Lots of them are incompetent. Many of the talented people emigrate to first world countries. There's no hope for us. It's sad when you think about the fact that my generation or the coming generation will not be able to see an India without the problems it face today.
