How does one know whether or not something like the Bulletproof diet is a hoax?

Thank you for subscribing. I've been working on making it better. This is what I've created tonight.

I use coconut oil and MCT oil (Bulletproof brand), and should probably increase my butter intake.

Regarding physical immortality... extremely chancy, even if the technology is developed, ethics has not kept up with technology. Many risks to even get to 1000 years old.

I don't even think there is much need to worry about immortality, since E=MC2, matter and energy cannot be created nor destroyed.

Transformation is more of a concern for me, reaching perfection in this life. It is better to die perfect than live forever.

I'm almost getting a flicker of understanding on sirtuins. So by inhibiting HDAC, and sirtuins, you enhance cells resilience to stressors? I may be reading this wrong though.

I'm nervous about sirtuins. After all these years I've only found one good use for them which would not backfire: In the epigenetics of addiction. I put that on Wikipedia by the way, if I don't share what I know then it's fairly useless to know it. The other guy who made the image also works heavily on that article. I added some other stuff there.

But by inhibiting HDAC1 and SIRT1, one epigenetically may prevent long term changes in the brain.

Generally my efforts have gone in favor of HDAC inhibition. My interest in sirtuin began with life extension books like Fantastic Voyage: Live Long Enough to Live Forever by Ray Kurzweil.

I think there is value in it, and advantage to be gained in studying what they've written. But I am uninterested in long term theory, rather I only care about what is mostly harmless and can help right now, if I do action.

He also took like 200+ supplements a day, which was a bit much. I'd rather mostly stick to dietary related mechanisms.
