How the Dothraki charge actually went down

The way I see it, if the Dothraki stay back or otherwise take a more conservative/tactical role in the fight... they still get mowed down by the endless zombie wave. Then people complain online about "how poorly the dothraki were used.", "Why didnt they charge and meet them in an open field?", "such an underhwleming end for them to just get killed like that".

So rather, the writers have do the less tactically "correct" but still in character approach by having them charge and give us an iconic scene in the history of the show, visually and otherwise.. and now have people complain about how stupid it was...

Endless cycle of bitching. You can never satisfy everyone. I am glad to be enjoying it.
