How every ability could work in PoGo: Mr. Mime-Deoxys (Final List) (Also Cubone Line because I forgot one last time)

Good write up though it's a bit late for Gen 3 (wich is ready to be released and this post likely came into final testing for Gen 3). Now would be the time to do something similar for Gen 4 as this is when they have to start looking at this type of thing for implementing on Gen 4 (or midway potentially). I've not read the abilities yet on the prev post of yours. Suggestions on the abilities: * Telepathy: This Pokemon forces its allies to automatically dodge incoming charge attacks. * Snow Cloak, Wonder Guard, White Smoke: This Pokemon takes no damage from dodging.

Not 100% sure on the mechanics of dodging but assuming from Snow cloak etc even when dodging you take some damage. Telepathy's forced dodge will cause problems middle of attacks, I'd rather change it that Telepathy just reduces damage from charge attacks. This is less work to implement than trying to force a dodge in the middle of attack animations.

  • Forewarn: When this Pokemon enters battle, the opponent's moveset is displayed on the "Battles Won" screen. Change to: When this Pokemon starts a battle, the opponent's moveset is displayed during the 'Vs.'-screen / countdown timer to go (i.e. can't change pokemon anymore but you see which moves it has at the start.

  • Magic Bounce: When an opponent's ability should lower this Pokemon's stats, the effect is completely reflected.

  • Contrary: When this Pokemon's stats would be altered by any ability, the reverse occurs. (E.g. Intimidate actually raises this Pokemon's attack) Are there actually abilities that impacts this? And not sure how much extra stress changing stats middle of combat is going to put on the servers

  • Honey Gather: While buddied, this Pokemon has a 10% chance to find honey from a Pokestop. 5 Honey and 5 of each berry can be combined to make 1 incense. TBH I'm not sure if incenses are worth 5 golder Razz berries as it's only 5 pokemon spawns.

  • Poison Heal: If this Pokemon shares a gym with a poison type, its motivation actually increases over time. Stays static at full, decreases once Pokemon has been in long enough to collect daily coins.

  • Stall: This Pokemon does not lose motivation over time until it collects all daily coins possible. Simply no. Remove daily coins limit nothing should be linked to that imho. Niantic makes their money from selling coins, don't ever touch ability or ease of gaining coins if you want them to take suggestions seriously. i.e. The abilities etc should be aimed at team prestige with holding as many gyms. Further I feel that the pokemon should still loose motivation but at 25% of normal rate (i.e. 75% reduction), then for the poison heal when it's sharing a gym with a poison type it should gain double motivation from berries.

  • Forecast: This Pokemon (Basically just Castform) changes form based on your phone's weather app. If you don't allow PoGo access to your weather app, Castform remains normal type.

  • Air Lock: This Pokemon negates the effects of Drizzle, Snow Warning, Drought, or Sand Stream and any abilities affected by those four. Rather have a built in random weather for each gym that is shown to the top when you look at the gym abilities like Snow Warning can either affect the gym's weather (locking it to a type) or the actual battle with the pokemon (shown in same manner than Forewarn)

  • Color Change: This Pokemon changes into the type that would take the least damage from its opponent, then remains that type until it switches out. Assuming this would be a combination of quick and charge attacks.
