How is everyone?

Yeah, I found out the full story behind this street corner memorial I passed while biking 2 weeks ago.

A 16-year old kid on a Lime Scooter thought he could beat a Tow Truck at a intersection while in it's blind spot at night.

He couldn't.

The week after, the city council banned the scooters completely from the city, 3 weeks into the "Pilot" launch stage.

That explained to me why the scooters just showed up one weekend and how recently they've just disappeared completely from the streets.

It also explained to me why my mom was worried sick when I was biking home at night (since I'm the only one out of my brothers to ride bikes). I never knew the full story up until now.

It's times like these when I am truly thankful all that happened to me when I got struck by a car while biking 2 years ago the week before Thanksgiving was a busted-up left leg and that's it. I mean sure, even to this day it still hasn't fully healed (I get cramps from time to time), but it could've been worse!
