How exactly are studs able to support weight of a TV or monitor?

First off, I guarantee you that of the 1 million users on this subreddit, at least a large percentage of them have been where I was before, asking simple questions.

The start to anything, any trade, hobby, skill, always begins with simple questions. What’s wrong with asking basic questions? With your logic, everyone should stop learning what they’re learning, and hire someone who’s skilled to do it for them. Rather than asking basic questions on how to fish for starters, let me just hire a fisherman to do it for me.

Aside from this subreddit, I’ve also watched a few videos on this particular topic. And I’m also doing research on Google, I just came here to get extra clarity. Nothing wrong with that.

Assuming I don’t have the right tools for this task doesn’t make sense because you could actually recommend the tools I need, instead of just telling me I don’t have them or the ones I have are inferior to others. Again, I could easily just google search which ones would be beneficial.

What’s the difference with asking the same exact questions to someone who’s experienced on Reddit, or watching someone on YouTube do it?
