Well in that specific case, she was given a summons to appear. She appeared but made excuses on why she wasn't able to pay. Judge said you need to pay. She then decided to not show up to court. Court the issued a warrant pending. She got scared and showed up at court to set another appearance for all parties. Then she decided not to show, again, at which point a warrant for immediate arrest was made.

There were also other instances where ABC owed XYZ $1000 and had paid $853 of it off but then subsequently disappeared. XYZ was able to have also a warrant for immediate arrest of ABC issued.

If you look at how this started, OP made a post about how she was looking for ways out of paying any of the debt, including suggesting she "wait it out" or move to another country. It was then I told her that doing these kinds of things will end up in an arrest warrant on her ass. Then she came in here and started this whole circus.
