44 million folks in California. States with greater populations are victim to the tyranny of the minority

I'm thinking more and more that USA will have to split up some time soon. I mean, just the 44 million people in California is significantly more people than the entire population of Canada. It can easily become its own country, and enact its own laws without a few million Dum-Dums in welfare states dictating things.

I used to think the country could just grow out of it, but the last 4 years have very clearly shown that close to 40% of the country's population is completely divorced from reality and is incapable of normal rational thought. That's not something that can be reconciled. These people are wilfully, militantly ignorant and proud of it.
