How do you feel about the indictment of Donald Trump?

Is it weird that I kind of want that precedent set?

Back in the Roman times, the Patricians tried to stay in elected office for as long as they possibly could, because it made them immune from prosecution. But the day they left office, they basically walked from the senate to the courthouse, to start dealing with all their legal problems.

I kind of want to see that with American politicians, too. The minute you leave office, you face non-stop investigations until, as a the former head of the NKVD once said, "You give me the man, I'll show you the crime."

We all know every single politician is a criminal - because you don't get to that place in life without committing a few - let's finally start holding all of them accountable for it.
