How do you want the final season to end? Leave their your ideas, thoughts and theories.

Couldn't get this out of my head last night, so here goes: In Season 1, when Not-Yet-Dead Ned Stark learns the truth about who ought to genetically inherit the Iron Throne, he could have taken one of the two more obvious courses of action: 1) tell the King, have the Lannisters banished (or likely worse), and let the bastard be on deck for the Pointy Chair, or 2) he could have just sat on the intel so as not to rock the boat and to let his friend and King live on in blissful ignorance. But instead, Ned opts for a third way: informing Cersi that he's going to rat on her and her peeps in hopes that she and the rest of her fam self-deport out of King's Landing. This, of course, leads to his demise when he gets arrested under BS pretenses and ultimately becomes Dead Ned.

Now, in Season 8, when Died-But-Not-Dead Jon Snow learned the truth about who ought to be next in line Menacing Seat, he, like Uncle Ned, had two obvious courses of action to take: 1) he could've told everyone within shouting range that (ta-da!) he himself is really the true heir, or 2) he could've just sworn never to tell anyone, the end. But instead, like Dead Ned, Jon tries for a more middle of the road approach and tells Arya and Sansa only, which will lead to his demise by I-Told-You-So Dany. Greive Worm saw Jon try to hold his men back from the slaughterfest, and that could serve as enough pretense for Dany to sentence him to death by Dragon Breath for his treasonous scruples about, you know, massacring innocent extras.

But there's a big difference this time round: Arya. The first time she was merely a helpless spectator when Dead Ned's head was on the chopping block; this time she's a ninja badass and will likely slay the executioner just in time, thus allowing Jon to reluctantly, mopily, accept the crown. The only question is: who's face is she going to "borrow" to get the deed done? Grey Worms? Tyrion's? A white horse's? It's anyone's guess!

Prediction for the Final Shot: in a remote place somewhere someone finds a nest with 3 (or more!) dragon eggs. Thank you for your time. Now I can go to sleep
