How to fix travel-for-work depression?

this is complete bullshit.

No, 90% of weight gain isn't diet.

This is how it works. Someone under normal circumstances, may be getting leaner and losing fat eating 2,000 calories a day. With an antidepressant, they might need to eat 1700 or 1500 calories a day to achieve the same effect.

"Control your diet" yeah sure, you have to starve yourself to lose weight on antidepressants. And if you just remove them from the diet, you can lose more weight, faster.

Yes true, you will gain weight if you eat sugar/alcohol all the time.

The point is, antidepressants still make you fatter. They lower your metabolism.

No, your kind of rhetoric actively encourages people to become drug addicts and actively encourages depressed people to sink further into depression. It encourages people to use drugs that cause weight gain and only increase depression in the long term.

I don't know who you are or what your lifestyle is, but you certainly aren't here to help people. I don't know if you're an anti depressant addict who has a horrible lifestyle and looks like crap so you want to encourage everyone around you to go on anti depressants so they end up as miserable as you and look like crap, but I would encourage you to work on and improve yourself instead of actively trying to mess with other people's metabolisms. Antidepressants are drugs, they are chemicals, period. They alter your metabolism. You would need to eat far less food to successfully stay lean on them compared to if you weren't using the anti depressants. That antidepressant pill is basically like eating a 500 calorie cake slice everyday. Ain't nobodys depression gonna be helped or cured from pharmaceuticals. Do you honestly think getting depressed people to gain weight is gonna improve their depression?
