How do you make friends with people of the opposite sex? It’s seems like they all just want to fuck you

I have to disagree with that. The vast majority of my friends are male and they don’t all want to sleep with me. I’ve always studied and worked in a male dominated field, so it’s been a lot easier to make male friends than female friends.

I don’t find it hard to be friends with men as long as we’ve got some common interests and I keep things strictly platonic (no flirting and especially no sleeping with them).

The biggest problem has been the attitude of other people, there’s been no end of gossip around me hanging out with men. On one occasion, I heard someone say I was in love with one of my male friends, even though I had a boyfriend at the time! It’s infuriating.
