How do you guys deal with griefers?

I respect your opinion of the game, but i humbly disagree that red dead online is just a open world pvp game, and nor do we treat it as a hunting and fishing simulator.

It may come as a surprise to you, but red dead online is far more than just a pvp game, while there are indeed pvp elements, many people, myself included, play it simply as a fun way to mess around in an awesome wild west environment, and yes that includes hunting and fishing, and also raiding bandit hideouts, completing the story quests, free roam missions and so on.

We have nothing against pvp, and we enjoy the occasional scuffle. What we do not enjoy is the literal chasing down and hunting of players for the fun of it. There are legitimate pvp modes in the game with rewards for actually doing well, but instead these players who are overgeared and of a much higher level, decide to go around and pick on weaker players relentlessly. THAT is what we are against, the mindless pointless griefing of players.

To put things into context, we were once killed by someone who then proceeded to grab our pelts from our horses and run away. Now that, we consider fair play. After all, there was a point in killing us: he wanted our pelts. Fair play. Griefing, is not.
