How do you guys go on if you feel like at any time, something is going to blow up in your face?

"Shit happens"

I just take life a day at a time. That way, I only control what I do at the moment. Focusing on the future too much gets me overwhelmed. I say, let the inevitable happen, and focus only on what I can control.

This doesn't mean you should spend $50K on cocaine and not worry about your wellbeing. I actually plan my days very thoroughly. But if something bad were to happen to me (i.e. I get fired), I don't blame myself. I just say "shit happens" and move the hell on.

Easier said than done during moments of peace, I understand. But I think that if you can accept the fact that shit just happens, the easier it gets to navigate through crisis.
