How do you guys stay motivated to exercise?

Hey man I'm also 22 with CF. I recently started going to the gym and this is my 9 month progress picture.

Get fucking shredded brah'.

It may seem cliche but holy fuck it'll improve your lung function, quality of life and confidence. I grew up skinny as fuck and it feels so great to have an adult powerful body, I recently was able to squat 100kgs which is insane for me (I weigh 74kg).

It'll help you beat depression, anxiety and make your life better than ever, people with Cystic Fibrosis are lucky in the sense that we don't absorb fat so when we bulk for muscle gains we don't put on any fat... Just muscle. Mind you its harder to put this muscle on but it makes the muscle you have more noticeable. If you start lifting within 3 months of going 5 days a week and having a proper diet you will be straight heroin level addicted to lifting.

The only tip or trick you need is to have the vision to get your ass out there and do it. Visualise your goals and then make those goals reality with hard work it'll give you such a great sense of fulfilment.
