You don’t. Let me offer my advice to you. I had a crush in the workplace who knew I liked her. We’d flirt every day. Until one day she had an attitude with me and I told her she needed to check her attitude with me. She tells me not to speak to her again. We haven’t talked in two weeks. Work is awkward as fuck right now. We were friends for like couple months and would flirt with each other at work almost daily. But it’s such a mess I wanna change departments so I don’t have to see her or work with her anymore. I’m upset at myself because I blew a good thing I had going for me, but you can’t predict how people will react under pressure.

TL;DR

She got an attitude under a lot of stress at work one day, I had a lot of stress and told her to not have an attitude with me, she takes it the wrong way, like the worst way possible and now we’re not on speaking terms and if things had gone right, I literally could’ve had a girlfriend at work.

But also, it kind of proves just how bad these things can go. And it also shows me that maybe it was never the great idea I thought it would be, because homegirl gave me an attitude and I didn’t like that.
