How hard would it be for someone with absolutely zero programming knowledge to learn python before September? Working about 4 hours/week on it.

What's your basis of programming knowledge?

The most I know how to do is navigate through directories in command prompt. In my previous attempts I've gotten maybe one exercise past hello world before I get disinterested or distracted usually because I get lost and it doesn't make sense as my work doesn't seem tangible.

Is this only in Python or in all of your CS knowledge?
How did you get accepted to a cyber security degree with zero programming knowledge?
Sorry if my questions seem dickish, but as someone with years of Undergrad and many more years before working in programming/scripting/small game development.
I just don't know how you think you're going to walk into it, with 4hrs/ week. I've literally today spent 8 hrs working on a single problem.
Now if it's a first year 101 class, they should teach you basic fundamentals, and progress from there.
I know the majority of my school courses use C++ and spend MONTHS drilling it.

So if you're just starting this is okay.
But if this is like a 2 year Cyber Security Certificate course, you're going to have a tough time.
