I guess you just let it go, one day at a time. I couldn't breastfeed my first despite nipple shield, pumping, fenugreek, you name it. But my daughter lost weight and just kept crying. None of us got a good night sleep. Once she got fed with formula I just could tell she's happy, sleeping way better, and we got some sleep too.

I counted every night that had passed, just wanted for her to grow faster, to 6 months old, so she could try solid food, so I wouldn't think about milk that much. It worked on everyone. She grew to be a healthy, smart, cheeky 4 year old.

Now with my second baby, I gave her formula from day 2, and I didn't count the day anymore, because she's well fed, healthy, and happy.
