How the HELL do y’all keep jobs longer than 6 months??

I am 30 and I can only stay for 6 months at a job still. I ended up getting 3 different jobs in different areas to spread it out. I also have trouble living in one place for more than a year, COVID has made this difficult. I worry because I get so enthusiastic about one thing, and then I get worn. The idea of committing to a 'career' is terrifying. I have gone back to study in an area that has held my interest for a really long time and will be interesting and challenging (mental health area) so hopefully this will be it for me :).

Good luck! At 23 I could not really imagine committing to a 'career' and it's good you get to experience many different workplaces, it truly does give you lots of skills and perspective. It also helps you to know what type of environment you want to work in and the type of people you like working with.
