How to hide a billion dollars | The Panama Papers

This is not what scrutiny means.

The definition:

"critical observation or examination".

There is plenty of information to observe, are you suggesting this information doesn't warrant observation?

If people accused Obama of being corrupt

Where in the Panama paper has anyone accused Putin of being corrupt? I haven't read a single news source that has said this yet, what publication has said this regarding the leaks?

superficial ties

They certainly appear more than superficial, but this may be perspective. If Obama had these ties to people that appear to have done this, there would be congressional hearings. Hell, Clinton went through congressional hearings and was impeached for a blowjob. A US president would be dragged through hell for information like what we're seeing now.

Actual confirmed money trail, phone recordings, some sort of intel we can chew on rather than weasel term association.

These would be actionable legal cases, not scrutiny, which is what I said was absolutely justified. There's enough to look into it in more detail, no question.

Well his friends are crooks. Yes and it's Russia we're talking about. Everyone is croon in that government to some degree from the most innocent of politician to the shadiest of fucks.

Everyone is a crook, so its OK if Putin is too? Or that they are all crooks, so we shouldn't scrutinize or look into any of it. Fuck it? Lets just pretend there's nothing there?

What you were saying was that because he's a public figure and global figure at that then press is excused for smearing his name on something concrete as wealth when they've got no money trail, no leaked documents, recordings

Again, what publication is saying anything other than corruption seems to be widespread and also often leads to people with ties to Putin. This is what I've seen on CNN, Fox, BBC, MSNBC. Where are you seeing that he's guilty of something, or smearing? What press? Do you have links, I haven't seen them yet, and I've been looking on and off today.

It's another to accuse of corruption while having shit to prove it with.

Again, please point to the many accusations of guilt in the press you keep mentioning.
