How is the Ho 229 compare to other premium like the P-80A?

Ho 229 is one of the more challenging planes in my hangar. For reference I find J8M hardest to master. I also prefer the Me 109 TL over the Seafang. My favorites are Do 335 A-1, XP-58, Me 109 TL in that order.

Do 335 A-1 IMO is the best tier 8 premium in my collection. It has great speed, long boost and great yaw maneuverability for a heavy fighter. Has good enough fire power. It is fast enough to defend more than one sector at a time. I did not love it for the first 10-20 flights but it eventually became my favorite and my go to money maker.

XP-58 has insane firepower. Once you manage to clear a strategic sector you can snipe anything daring to approach and that can guarantee a win. It has a tail gunner that makes it more deadly and a great trainer. Its weakness is poor accuracy without Marksman I and II. It makes the most credits for me along with the Do 335 A-1.

Me 109 TL is a recent addition to my hangar. I am working toward Specializing it. I think it looks mean. It feels very balanced. Good fire power, great speed and boost, average maneuverability. Makes less money than the Do 335 and XP-58. I am looking forward to putting ultimate equipment on it.

Ho 229 has a niche. It is fast, but has short a boost time. It has poor maneuverability for a light fighter. It has insanely powerful guns that heat up after 3-4 shots. It is a sniper and requires a lot of feathering. Marksman I and II are required for maximum effectiveness. This plane can be very good. Sometimes I hesitate to press battle because success in it can be situational, more so than the others.
