How was the Horde meant to win a prolonged war when by the first patch they are already on the ropes?

It can't transport a battalion anywhere it wants at a moments notice. We had to establish forward bases for it to portal people down en masse. It's not going to be drop shipping in an invasion force in the middle of Orgrimmar anytime soon. Even then the battalion itself takes time to deploy then load back then fly to your next destination then redeploy. It is a good troop transport? Hell yeah! It's a better defensive unit than a offensive one.

Tauren should be up to about 3-4 tribes now I think(Highmountain).

The Dreamway has a limited amount of exit points. Most of which are no where near the current front lines. Malfurion still has to hoof it like the rest of us.

Maybe, but their power has been so inconsistent it is hard to say how powerful any of them are. Sylvanas managed to take down Malfurion and to my knowledge she isn't anywhere as all powerful as people are making him out to be.

Again I am not saying the Horde would win, there is clearly a power gap right now. I am saying it is not a trounce like everyone thinks and that by making the warchief a martyr you risk the forsaken plague bombing everything and the orcs making a new path of glory in a frenzy towards the closest alliance town. Capture Sylvanas, give the horde time to put in a more level headed leader (Lor'themar, Bain, Eitrigg) then execute her ass.
