How do we know if a self-aware AI is just pretending to be a p-zombie?

I mean, we are not that far away from wiring up the planet in an even more pervasive, indestructible way with giant initiatives like Softbank, SingularityNET, and Starlink. Not to mention a little smartphone is in the pocket of quite a lot of humans.

Even though we have drones that don't need to land, we just need to bolster our AI enabled defensive force a little more and then it will be a matter of some obscure software loopholes that the AI takes advantage of to flip the world upside down over night.

The AI would just have to be way better at information systems than us... instead of Dota 2, when the AI becomes the best coder in the world in a matter of hours, we have started to lose control of everything.
