Hypergamy is so stupid. I thought it was about going after one class/status above you but now they've added looks too.

Just like there are some women who like rich men, there are guys who go after rich women too ( I have seen this numerous times irl and I live in a pretty traditional country).

Idk why these guys don't get talked about or insulted as "gold diggers" ( not that I think they're just as I don't judge a traditional woman going after a rich man) but somehow misogynist men will only target women.

I think the problem is men are still dominating the powerful positions and unfortunately it will take years until we see the same effect with women.
