How important is a good chair?

I believe your seat is incredibly important. After years of playing PC games I realized that I would be uncomfortable after short play sessions on my $50 office seat. I don't want one of the largest investments and main time investment in my life to make me feel anything negatively. I purchased a DXRacer and was very impressed with the quality of the materials and the aesthetics of the chair.

It arrived with a slight manufacturing odor, but nothing overwhelming. The chair I received unfortunately had a small stain on the seat. I contacted DXRacer to voice my concern and they gave me two options.

1)If I was able to remove the stain they would refund 10% of the cost to me.

2)If I was not they would send me another seat. I tried to remove the stain and was not able to and I let them know, they apologized and sent me a new seat in what felt like no time. Throughout the process the rep was kind and courteous.

This chair has allowed me to once again enjoy my computer for longer than a few hours at a time. I feel very confident in saying I could sit on this chair ALL day without discomfort.

I would not recommend this seat to wide bearing master racers as my only complaint about the seat is that I feel that it would only be MORE comfortable if it had a bit more width and I am of a very average size.

However I would implore all of my brethren to spend a small percentage of what your rig is worth on a decent chair to improve your overall satisfaction with your PC. I know it has helped me enjoy the platform I love immensely more by making me both more comfortable and extending my possible play time to nearly indefinitely.
