Personally for me, I never got a chance to have a casual relationship. You could argue that I didn’t give it a chance, but to be fair, I met someone early on that I have a meaningful connection with so I wouldn’t trade that for casual sex.

In my mind, I foresee dating around and hooking up would be a mixture of dread and fun for me. If these were my current circumstances, I’d deal with it by seeing it to be a fun, learning experience.

After all, you’re making the choice of putting yourself out there and consenting to sexual activities. Sometimes, you just gotta bust a nut with someone you find attractive and that’s that.

Either way, sometimes hooking up leads to something more—from what I’ve seen anyway.
