If someone told me that, I'd say ok.... so we're friends? Because that's what separates a romantic relationship vs a friendship.

If you're just friends, then if you live together you're housemates.

Housemates usually don't live together more than a few years.

Unless you take drastic action and force the issue and say I need you to go down on me once a month and grab my butt and more once a week then you're in a friendship. It's OK to express desires with a romantic partner and what you need them to do to you/for you to maintain that status.
