How do I get into this?

As u/rowdycat24 said, it’s pretty rare to land a gig where sports PT will be your bread and butter, and those spots are generally so sought after that the pay for them is relatively low compared to less glamorous positions like SNFs or home health. You should read the sub and think very long and hard about the actual financial cost of going to PT school, and weigh that against your current earning potential. I know people that went into tech fields and make more money with their debt-free bachelor’s degree than I do with my $100K doctorate and the debt that comes with it. I love my job, but I can’t say I would call PT school a sound financial decision for most people right now.
