How has Islam been made so taboo in the UK?

It's as simple as misdirected/uneducated social justice, cancel culture is a massive fear for majority in the public eye and the middle ground is non-existent because of it. What I mean is the only way you won't get ousted for criticism is by appealing to the extremes of either end as a veil of social mobility and protections.

It really should be as simple as the rules of a therapy session. We fully accept your differential culture as long as it doesn't break the countries laws, cause harm to yourself or others. The erosion of particularly European traditional culture is seen as positive because of historical actions associated with it whilst conveniently ignoring historical actions of introduced cultures.

I really do not mean to sound like some sort of nationalist but just trying to say it in an entirely objective way.
