How do I keep fighting if my biggest enemy is myself? I feel the obstacles that are in my head are impossible to tackle.

You should stop fighting, fighting is exhausting and stress inducing , and if the enemy is yourself then you are kicking your own ass. So, stop fighting.

You feel that the obstacles in your head are impossible and you're broken but that's your feeling at this moment, its not a good evaluation of reality. Maybe I am misunderstanding your situation, but you don't really mention anything that seems incredibly impossible, just some mental stuff and shitty study habits.

I'm not sure what exactly your head obstacles are, but the good thing is, they are in your head. It sounds like you're in the early stages of developing will power and discipline and that you're highly critical of your efforts.

Discipline is hard. No one likes it, it doesn't come any easier to anyone. The trick is that when you do it you feel productive and that feeling propels you forward. Sadly, you have to have some will power to get you there. Theres no trick, just practice being disciplined about your life. its like any art or craft, just practice.

Instead of beating yourself up when you make a mistake like getting distracted or off track, try just noticing you lost concentration and get back to it. For spacey people, you're gunna take breaks and wander a bit, thats fine, but notice when you've wandered and come back to the task. Have you ever watched a baby learn to walk? It falls down fucking constantly but it just keeps applying itself to the task; have that mentality about this, faith, patience, and diligence.

if you decide you can't win, then it's pretty much over, which is sort of a bummer but you get to be right, you get to indulge in your comfortable patterns and habits, and it's less work. if you decide, ok, I'm doing this-then it's done.
