How do you keep on going knowing that there were other contributing factors leading up to 9/11?

It doesn't, just wanted to know if I should tailor my experiences to an American or a foreigner.

I don't think anyone is questioning that the freedoms and Liberty this country has are being lost with each passing day, they are, and all Americans should be concerned about it.

That said, this isn't known as the land of opportunity across the entire world for no reason. There are so many countless stories in the history of this country of men and women of all races, religions, and ethnic backgrounds who have come to this country and succeeded and prospered, because they knew what they wanted, and worked hard to get it.

Tens of thousands of immigrants come to this country every year, giving up everything they've ever known for a shot at the American dream. They wouldn't come here if they truly didn't believe they would succeed at it, and I'm also living proof that it can be done.

I got into some pretty big trouble at the age of 18. I ended up spending over a significant time in prison for a very stupid decision, and now I have a criminal record which I have to live with for the rest of my life.

I realized in prison that if I ever wanted to accomplish anything in life that I'd have to do it myself, and that most people would not look passed the criminal record and give me a chance.

It was a turning point in my life, and I came out more determined then ever to make something out of my life, and never return to prison.

I started my own business of which is still continuing to flourish. Where I am in no way rich or wealthy, I am no longer living paycheck to paycheck, and am fully in control of mine, and my family's future. The keys to my success are in my own hands, no one else's. If I end up broke and homeless, that's nobody else's fault by my own. If I end up as a millionaire, nobody else did it for me, I did it on my own. That is the definition of Freedom and Liberty.

If I as a felon have that opportunity in this country to succeed, then every other American does to. That is true Freedom, and true Liberty, and even more liberating when you seize that opportunity and take matters into your own hands.

While I've never lived in any other country, I highly doubt that these opportunities are open to the lowest members of their society as it is here.
