Not sure why your supervisors didn't know how to use the billing system. Not sure if you were there in the CableData days or when Comtrac was what they used but neither were terribly difficult to understand.

We did have a customer advocacy group that started out when I was there to help address repeat problems, but they weren't changing their number every few weeks since that would defeat the purpose of customers with chronic month-long service interruptions from actually reaching them.

Agree that the supe's primary responsibility was addressing stats, calls, and coaching, above addressing customer concerns. I only ever met one or two who were actively happy to speak to a customer, the rest were highly likely to make sure you did everything possible before taking a call transfer.
