how long before russian aircraft losses become crippling?

The latest at Oryx:

[Total] Russia - 105, of which: destroyed: 85, damaged: 2, captured: 18

Combat Aircraft (23, of which destroyed: 22, damaged: 1)

Transport Aircraft (1, of which destroyed: 1)

Helicopters (36, of which destroyed: 33, damaged: 1, abandoned: 1, captured: 1)

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (45, of which destroyed: 28, captured: 17

Relevant Quote: “ This list only includes destroyed aerial assets of which photo or videographic evidence or pilot death notices are available. Therefore, the amount of destroyed and damaged aircraft is likely significantly higher than recorded here.”

My thoughts: it’s going to be extremely difficult to get visual confirmation of the vast majority of aircraft brought down. So either you trust Ukraine’s figures or you don’t. That’s up to you. I trust their figure at this point for a few reasons.
