Here is a push/pull I used with a girl: "So you and your friend had a deep conversation. You're probably still riding the high from it (These are just comments acknowledging her situation). What was the deep conversation about(pull - showing interest)? Unless it's boring(push - tease).

Now if I didn't add that last line "Unless it's boring." It's the push that creates the attraction because it shows that your not totally interested. If I show that I am only interested all the time, then I'm easy to attract therefore no challenge to her. The push gives her opportunity to chase you versus you always chasing her.
