How long did it take for you to see results without exercise?

TL;DR: I've lost weight even though I still eat sweets, but my progress has been slower than most people I see posting here (16 lbs in 7 months).

I've lost 16 pounds since May (so, 7 months) by just doing 18:6.

I do NOT exercise or count calories or otherwise limit my caloric intake in any way. I still eat carbs and sugar and I have a huge sweet tooth.

That said, I don't keep snacks at work (which is where I break my fast during the week). I break my fast with a hearty and balanced lunch. I don't feel hungry again until later in the evening, and then, I'll have a light dinner with my husband.

Sometimes dinner is a small serving of whatever he's having (i.e. actual food), or a bowl of cereal, or cookies and milk, or whatever else I can find to snack on, lol.

I've seen a LOT of people say their sweet cravings go away after they start IF, but that has not been my experience. (I think it's related to untreated ADHD, but I don't know if it would be appropriate to go into that here).

That said, I don't crave sugar when I'm full and I'm either actively fasting or full (because I stuff my face as soon as my feeding window opens, lol).
