For me it depends on the build up to the initial orgasm. If it was a long late night session that involved drinking, edging, a little cardio and it ended with a big finish. Guaranteed between the booze, the cardio, and the post orgasmic hormones flowing through my veins, I'm asleep within minutes whether I want it or not, and whether my wife wants it or not. It's why I fuck her as best I can to get her there first.

Sometimes the next morning, or a few hours I'm ready to go. Sometimes it's the next night or day. Just depends. Hydration plays a big key too, especially if I've been drinking.

On the rare occasion I've had ample sleep the night before, and I've paced myself well, the stars will align and I can keep going after I've finished until she can finish. But it's truly better for both of us if she gets there first.

I've also had quick sessions without the long buildup, where I think the recovery is much quicker. But that's likely because I wasn't drinking, and didn't make it a cardio event.

Edit: And by cardio, I mean sex was active enough it was like having a session of cardio exercise. Not actually incorporating an activity like running or cycling into the bedroom.
