I Googled before I came here. I didn't realize most mushrooms of the cubensis variety had similar grow times/methods until you pointed it out. The ten or so links that I got from "how long does Costa Rica cubensis take to grow" didn't return anything because I was asking the question the wrong way. Now that you've given me a foothold on how it works, my googling has returned much better results. Sometimes you just need a live person to tell you something that googling can't quite give you if you're googling the wrong terms.

I got annoyed at the other guy for the "just from that sentence I can tell you're a noob" comment. Because, I mean, a guy who's asking for such basic info as I was obviously doesn't know dick about mushrooms so it felt a little rude despite the "it's cool we've all been there." It just struck me as odd that I came on here extremely forthcoming about my lack of knowledge and he felt the need to point it out anyway while adding nothing to the actual conversation.

Anyway, yeah, now that I've been pointed in the right direction from your first response I did a lot more research now that I actually know what I need to search for, so thanks for that!
