I'm completely open for an alternative plan to protecting people from criminals. My brother has been mugged twice at the time he was working in New York City doing volunteer work for Theatre in the park. He was held at gunpoint for the $20 he had in his wallet and the second time for his hand me down flip phone that he used to keep in contact with us. While being held at gunpoint other people just walked past him without even looking. So don't give me that we will all protect each other because most people will simply walk away in order to avoid getting hurt at the expense of others. I would honestly love if we lived in a better world but we don't there are horrible people in this world. I apologize if I give slow responses I am apparently only allowed to post once every 10 or so minutes my friend who also has a reddit says this is likely because I have a new account.
