I'd say it's more tragic that OP and so many other people in this sub believe this drivel. Do you really think a bunch of illiterate farmers and black smiths not even a few centuries ago knew much of anything outside of their community and trade?

People are doing the best they can with what they have, and what they have is a more comfortable lifestyle then any other time in all of human history. The poorest of the wealthiest nations on Earth live a more comfortable lifestyle than kings as long as they are willing to hold a low income job.

We will never have a perfect system. There will always be inequalities and it eventually causes a war to try to reset the inequality until the cycle repeats itself. Just be happy you're living in a generally peaceful time.
