How many of you are home listeners and not been to an event?

Not on a pedestal. It is a fact. Dnb started at live events (whatever they may be), and they are still integral part of the genre. This is where the tunes are tested. This is where the magic happens. Most of the music is still for playing at events. Even when it is not solely that, it will always be partly. It is just like rock or metal or punk or techno. Ask the producers, ask the DJs. You talk big, especially about producing (why do you even mention it constantly) yet you seem to know little about anything. I understand you have had to come up with this story so you feel good for not going out and experiencing the rest.

And while you contemplate that, why not also go back those twenty years and tell me how dnb was born back in the day. I really want to hear you tell me what really happened. Because after following the genre and jungle before from the early 1990s I’d love to learn how it actually played out. I am sure a guy who drops Bad Company is a legit resource.
