The post in your link that says "TRP is dangerous" describes a fucking rapist who used verbal and physical abuse to get what he wanted. TRP does not promote rape, abuse, or violence against women (or men, for that matter). A lone wolf who was looking for an excuse to rape someone used TRP as a scapegoat for his behavior. Guess what? Ideas don't rape people - people rape people. Let me reiterate: TRP does not promote rape. It is NEVER okay to rape someone. There is a term used in TRP called LMR, or "last minute resistance", that describes the guilty feelings a person makes known just before they have the sex that they have already consented to. Using gentle persuasion to overcome LMR is NOT the same as coercion, i.e. making threats against someone in order to have sex with them. TRP promotes persuasion, NOT coercion. Know the difference.
promotes inequality
TRP is a school of thought that looks at the sexual strategies of men and women. Complementarianism, which TRP believes in, is considered a "backwards" way of thinking because men have historically held roles in the family that tend to be more dominant and women have historically held roles that tend to be less dominant. Egalitarianism, on the other hand, is a more recent sexual strategy, which promotes absolutist equality and the interchangeability of roles in the family. TRP does not promote economic inequality (i.e. "women should be paid less than men simply because they're women, hurr durr").
homophobia
While I admit that I have read several posts in TRP that have been very homophobic, the tenets of the core beliefs are not. TRP sexual strategies are applicable to what society has deemed the 'traditional' family structure, and to the interactions between men seeking women and women seeking men, regardless of their sexual orientation.
and violence
As I have told another user, TRP does not promote violence, abuse, or rape. If you still think TRP promotes any of those things, post a link and an excerpt of the part of the subreddit's sidebar that says such actions are okay. You won't find any excerpts like that because that is not part of TRP ideology.
The rest of that post that dives into how TRP destroyed multiple long-term relationships. Frankly, I don't give a damn. LTRs are what post-Wall women and beta males want. The point of being an alpha is having the power to be in whatever consensual relationship you want for as long as you want - if that means you decide to leave your wife of 25 years because you're no longer attracted to her, then so be it. If it means you decide to never get married at all, then so be it. Being alpha means you are the one in control of your own destiny.
