Also as far as “it won’t ever go back” that’s why we are “bitching and moaning” because if these people didn’t exist it would go back because this shit wouldn’t be profitable. There is a small minority of people ruining video games for the rest of us across the industry just because “they can do what they want with their money” and it frustrates some of us, rightfully so.

A small minority? Do you have any idea how many people actively support these new live service games? All you have to do is check any metric. People want to play these. You grew up on something else and don't like the change, that's also fine.

Again, your precise argument could be used for any progress. "new genomic analysis? Oh only the minority rich can use that!". These irrational arguments have been around forever and thank god we progress despite them.
