How many people would be interested in participating in a public online tournament (through TTS)?

In a completely side stepping post...

I have a game/tournament setup idea. It’s to maximize a players potential for a game. Basically it requires two days per game/match. Day one is in roll for initiative order, table position, standard board setup, roll new initiative order, ban races, draft races, rest of board setup. Day two is the game.

Day one allows players to have more time and control of the board setup. They will have more time to talk out deals and bribes about system placement. Since the race draft is next it means that players may have certain board setups they may prefer depending on the races they like to play. After race draft and finish of board setup, players will have full knowledge of the board state, races in play, the first two public objectives, & their secret objective.

Then there’s a period of time for players to strategize and figure turns 1 and 2. This could be something like a day or two. Then game day. Players should be ready and hopefully confident in a race they weren’t expecting to play.

1.) players roll for initiative order. Payers then choose where at a blank/empty board/table for their chair/position. 2.) players have the standard shuffled systems for normal board setup. They may make binding and non binding deals during this time. Binding such as “if you play that system there, I’ll play mine here since I’m next. Non binding would be any placements beyond ‘next placement’. 3.)players take a break/have time to study the board before draft phase. 4.)re-roll initiative to give more fairness to players. Then ban 1 race per player in initiative order. Then draft races in same order. 5.) finish game setup. Reveal the first two public objectives and the players should have their secret objective.

Thoughts?
