Chat with a doctor or nurse to get a final answer. As far as my experience with benzos and what I am aware of, once a week or so isn’t terrible but it’s still a bit much. You could experience short term memory issues and neurological issues down the line, like way way way down the line if you keep this up for a significant amont of time. You sound like a very intelligent and good person who deserve to get through these things without crutches, eventually. Do you have a game plan for tapering off benzo use entirely? If you don’t, consider designing a plan so that the confusion around benzo use is no longer a concern. I know school and work take up a great deal of time but please invest in cognitive behavioral therapy if you haven’t already. Hope that helps and sorry for being a bit preachy!
