How many years till you get priced out of renting in Toronto

Some will say you should, others you won't, it depends on your really tenant. My friend rents a house in Burlington for $1200 a month. Let me say that again a house in Burlington. That same house is probably $2100 at least now. But if think if your tenant is good your extremely lucky, as most renters don't give an F about the place. I look down my street in Milton nearly half the street is renters. You can tell which one by just looking at the property frontages LOL. I am a really good tenant and I'm on the line, if my landlord increased my rent I would move out as I already feel I pay too much and I know I could downsize and get a smaller place if needed. But then my landlord would lose an A+++ tenant who looks after the place. But if he's a bad tenant raise the rent try and get him out and someone new in.
