I told two people, who are two of the closest people to me. I told my friend because I kept secrets from him that were major to my indentity from him for over a decade, secrets he knew about but he said nothing about out of respect, and we just stopped keeping secrets from eachother. I know he suffers from an extremely embarassing medical condition, and he told me about a fucked up sex dream he had which still scars me to this day. We would both call eachother if we needed to hide a body, we have a strong bond of trust.

My family kept gifting me wildly inappropriate clothing, notably pajamas. Eventually I told my sister, the person in the family I trust most, and she got everyone to stop gifting me said clothes. Kind of a weird thing to do, but it solved my problem, so no regrets.

Other then that you occasionally have somebody figuring it out completely randomly. I was shortly "friends" with this short asian guy and we went clothes shopping together, and I asked him out some jeans looked. And the guy, literally, stared at my dick and went "well uhhhh, you knowww, it's a bit.... uhhh, forget it" and proceeded to completely drop the subject and proceeded to glance at my dick for the rest of the day. This guy was also unusually homophobic especially for the area I live in, so in retrospect, it's kind of funny.

But generally people don't look at mens crotches, and you aren't nude around them often, so they don't find out unless you want them to find out or you're in a sport like Swimming or Bicycling. The men are afraid of coming off as gay, the women afraid of coming off as rude (although they will sneak a glance at an attractive guys crotch).
